We have a brooch bouquet, seashells decor and hues of lavender, a windy beach with white powdery sand and lots of love in the air for this upscale beach wedding!!!

Ohhh… and a wagon of Maltese puppies.

The stylishly renovated Isle Dauphine venue on Dauphin Island, Alabama served as Joel and Marcus’ ‘anchor’ for the beginning of their happily ever after!

Joèl was just radiant in a mermaid wedding dress fitted to perfection for a beautiful beach affair. And for her future husband Marcus to admire for her first walk down the aisle.

This was also our first time photographing an entire wedding from atop a building. You guys, it was all kinds of awesome!!!

Special recognition has to go to the heirloom wedding shoes that belonged to Joèl’s mother. Mrs Paulette wore these shoes 50 years ago at her own wedding. Joèl had them refinished and ready to wear down the aisle. The sweetest present for a mother from a daughter on her wedding day!

And, ohhhh… the stunning brooch bridal bouquet… can we just pause a moment with it??? The beach related decor also translated into the smaller bouquets, hand made of seashells that bridesmaids carried down the aisle. It was the perfect touch to give this wedding just the right heirloom feel that Joel desired. The lavender hue and seashells theme went well into the design of the wedding centerpieces and the Couple’s grandiose *and* delicious wedding cake.

So many sweet moments I can barely count. However, the most overwhelming of emotions came out during the dances, when rivers of tears just started flowing… This photographers was having the best time with it all!

There’s nothing about this incredible day I didn’t love. I hope Joèl and Marcus have a sweet life full of puppy snuggles!
