Our Experience
STEP BY STEP
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
When should we book Andree Photo for our wedding?
Yesterday!!!
Kidding, but only a little.
Here's the scoop:
With a limited amount of wedding commissions we accept in any given year, we encourage couples to typically book Andree Photo about 12 - 18 months before their wedding date. We take extensive time to consult with our couples, all to ensure that all booked sessions are carefully planned, photographed, delivered and... thoroughly enjoyed!
Get in touch as soon as possible for our full wedding availability, even if you’re planning within a shorter time frame. Reach out and let's talk!
Do you work with other photographers?
Here's why a second professional photographer is a subtle, yet impactful addition to your wedding coverage:
If there are events happening at different venues, having multiple photographers re-assures you that absolutely nothing of the flow of the day is missed.
If your partner is getting ready in another location, a second photographer can easily photograph them interacting with their attendees, creating memories you may only be able to experience through our vision.
Also, during ceremony and reception, the second pro will capture a different vision than the lead, ensuring your day is covered from a multitude of angles.
In short, we master the whole 'being in two places at the same time' thing!
Depending on the collection chosen, a second photographer service is either included or may be purchased as an add-on.
How would you describe your photographic style?
Andree Photo has a crisp, vibrant, colorful, documentary style of wedding photography. We mainly photograph candidly, in order to capture the true feeling of your wedding day. However, we will spend time giving couples directed prompts for more dramatic end results. We love and use natural lighting, along with additional artificial lighting for extra sparkle and uniqueness.
Do You Photograph Micro Weddings And Elopements?
The Andree Photo team adores micro-weddings and elopements! Due to increased demand, there is an eight hour minimum for booking a weekend event with Andree Photo (Saturday or Sunday). If your intimate wedding is on a weekend less than two weeks away and we still have the date available, we are happy to photograph it. Just reach out and ask!
How do we book Andree Photo for our wedding?
Start by filling out the contact form with details about the wedding/event date and location. We’ll follow up to schedule a time for a phone or video consultation. You'll have the chance to ask questions and we'll get to know you and your partner a bit more. We'll present our collections, go over details of couples' sessions, printed artwork, financials and, last but not least, final delivery and completion schedule. To secure the date after our conversation, we send over a detailed quote, contract, and invoice for a 25% retainer of the chosen collection. Once those steps are completed, we're in business, baby!
How long will it take to see our photos?
Turnaround times vary by season. Because we apply artisan edits and believe in exquisite over ultra-fast, you’ll typically be able to view images online about 8-12 weeks after your wedding. A few previews may be offered, time and season permitting. Printed products included in your booked collection will depend on your album and wall art design choices, and print lab delivery. All products will be delivered in person at the same time. All collection products must be redeemed within a year of the event. Collection products unredeemed within a year will be forfeited and may be purchased a la carte at our current pricing. *All destination clients' artwork will be drop-shipped from our professional printing lab.*
What kind of wedding albums do you offer?
We adore seeing your beautiful images come to life, and we offer stunning artwork options. Albums are included in two of our all inclusive wedding day collections. Our wedding albums and books are flush mount, lay-flat style. Albums may be ordered leather or linen bound, with metal or acrylic covers, and printed on photographic archival paper. Books are press printed, with leather/linen covers. Bespoke designed covers and artisan storage boxes are available to purchase as add-ons.
What does your coverage generally include?
Andree Photo's wedding coverage includes delivery of high-res artisan edited digital files with a print release for personal use only. Available add-ons include: wedding albums, press printed books for attendees' or parents' gifts, tabletop photo prints, save the date and thank you cards, canvas gallery wraps, wall sized acrylic and metal prints, heirloom glass boxes with bespoke prints, holiday ornaments and more. Inquire for more details, or challenge us to make something new and truly unique!
What are your travel fees?
We request travel fees for locations over 2 hours or 150 miles outside of Mobile, AL. This way, we can commit to spending the day and evening with you, and not worrying about having to drive long distances late at night. Depending on the location of your event, travel/lodging is generally no more than $400 for the Alabama area. For an accurate estimate of your destination wedding location, please request details directly at laura@andreephotography.com
Do you offer engagement or couples' sessions?
Absolutely! An engagement or couples' session is a chance to get used to being photographed with your partner, as well as working with your photographer. We recommend meaningful locations like an urban area, a beautiful park where you take your pup for a walk, the beach or even the top of a mountain (always up for an adventure!). Some collections have these sessions included, or they may be added a la carte.
